General Mills Limited Edition Big G Cereals Prize Pack Giveaway – 5 Days of Giveaways
My breakfast of choice for the every day is cereal. My pantry is stocked with a variety of cereals including Cheerios for me and Lucky Charms for Jeffrey. I remember as a kid eating my cereal while reading the cereal boxes. I use to love to hunt for the special toy inside.
This week, Conversations with Moms is celebrating the Retro days of Cereal thanks to General Mills and Target.
For the next 5 days, I will be giving away a Limited Edition Big G Cereal Prize pack which includes:
- 1 box of each of the limited edition boxes of General Mills Big G cereal (Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Nut Cheerios, Trix and Lucky Charms) – That’s 5 boxes of cereal!
- 1 Retro-designed T-shirt (mine was a Honey Nut Cheerios one – very cute!)

I was always told not to live in the past, but I can sure celebrate and remember it with these retro cereal packages.
Starting February 14-March 7, Target stores nationwide will carry five limited-edition General Mills cereal boxes featuring fun “Retro” package designs and premium offers from the 60s and 80s.

now gone.
didn’t get many toys since my sisters always took them but I do remember a puzzle where you had to keep the ball in play until the end that I kept in my school backpack.

I think I’m too old because I can’t remember any special toys from the boxes. I’m sure they had them, I just don’t remember. I do remember loving sitting down to breakfast and reading the back of the box.

THE oldest toys I remember were things like records on back of the boxes and spinners. Basck then the toys were just in the cereal..no wrapping
The main thing I remember was hot wheels type cars.

I don’t remember a specific toy, but I do remember fighting with my brothers about whose turn it was to get the toy.

I don’t really remember any single toy – just getting lectured when we would pull the plastic bag out to get to the toy and try to shove it back into the box. With four kids, it was always a race to get the toy first!

I’m one of the “old” ones too because I remember getting the record “This Diamond Ring” by Gary Lewis and the Playboys off the back of a cereal box.

I loved getting the red or blue decoder cards that helped me to see a “secret message” on the outside of the box! I wanted to be a spy.

I remember getting pencil toppers!
I remember digging in the box to find the toy and it was always at the bottom. I think that I got some spinning tops that you could put together out of them but they might have came out of Cracker Jacks. My favorite? Plastic boats that were attached to dishbwashing liquid bottles.

I wasn’t allowed to eat cereal as a kid, so I never got any toys.
Regrettably, I only got generics as a kid. Recently, however, since I buy my own cereals now, I picked up a Star Trek USB Wristband from the movie tie-in promo. I wear it every day and keep important files and pics and stuff on it. Its great!

I don’t think there WERE toys in cereals when I was little. I’m 82 years old now!! I DO remember something about a de=coder that was probably in Wheaties, but I’m not sure about that either.
When I was a kid, I remember getting a glow-in-the-dark ring, man I loved that thing! It started my lifelong love of glowing items, I still collect them to this day!

I got a button that said that the Trix rabbit should also get to eat Trix (contrary to the slogan “Trix are for kids”). I loved that thing!
