The duo that don’t mix

It almost happens all the time. I could spend hours at home with no phone call. The minute I get comfortable in the bathroom, the phone rings. Of course, it’s always when I don’t have the phone nearby.
I then rush to get the toilet paper as the roll is spinning like crazy.
I run out like there is a fire and as soon as I’m near the phone, it stops ringing. Or worse, today I picked it up and it was a telemarketer who was trying to sell me insurance.
I ask myself every time, “why not just let it ring”.
Something about the ringing phone that drives me to run to it.
I think I’ve found the solution…..

Oh this is music to my heart the same thing happens to me and it makes me crazy..one of our bathrooms has a phone in it (was here when we bought the house) however, I’m like a nut case trying to get the phone…too..crazy..

I love this, it is too funny. I have special rings assigned to the important people in my life, so if the phone rings for anything else I don’t run for it. I guess you’d need to be sure that the webcam isn’t hooked up with a set up like this lol.

I actually despise being in the bathroom for any longer than I have to! I could never take a phone call while stewing in filth! LOL

LOL I like the picture. The same thing happens to me every day. I did come up with a solution. We have these cordless phones where only the main one needs to be hooked to a phone jack, and the others can just have their chargers plugged in. I moved one of the extras into the bathroom, and that took care of that problems.
Don’t feel bad this happens to me all the time. No matter if I am in the shower or on the pot. It drives me crazy.

I experience this same thing – only it’s during the rare occasions when I try to take a nap! No sooner do I fall asleep and the phone rings (and it’s nobody). Then I fall asleep again and my dogs bark. Then I fall asleep and Logan wakes up from HIS nap which means “you’re out of chances, Andrea.”
Anyway, when I was growing up my best friend’s parents installed a phone in their bathroom and I always thought that was a great idea. . .but the computer – now that is GENIUS, hehehe!
