Top Mom Blogs 2009 for appreciation
There are so many websites out there that are currently posting their top 10,50, or 100 list. You can be sure to find a couple posting the Top Mom Blogs for 2009.
I researched a few of them and realized just how different one list on one site is versus another. I haven’t found one yet that closely matches my personal favorites. O.K, the truth is that I haven’t found one that has my blog on it yet.
Last year, I posted Top Mom Blogs for 2008 based on popularity, but it is not all about Popularity. It should be about the relationships that you build while blogging.
To honor my relationships, I’m choosing to highlight my TOP COMMENTATORS FOR 2009.
I want all Commentators to understand just how much I appreciate each and every comment. It is the driving force of the engine that is my blog. I reciprocate each comment by visiting every one who took the time to comment (let’s just forget December for now
).
So to show some measure of appreciation to all who stayed with me throughout the year and who continuously commented on my blog, I wanted to highlight my Top Commentators for 2009.
(Even if you didn’t make my top Commentators list, you are much appreciated as well).
MY TOP 15 COMMENTATORS FOR 2009 (I encourage you to visit the following blogs)
1. A Nut in A Nutshell: I am sure most of you already know BlueViolet. For those who do not, go check her out now. She never fails to make me laugh and though we’ve never met, I have grown to think of her as a friend.
2. Memories as a Mom: You can be sure there is an adventure in every post as she writes about her adventures raising her son Logan.
3. Heart of Rachel: She loves blueberry cheesecake, carrot cake, sad love songs, moonbeams on water, starry nights, taking photos, personalized gifts, happy endings and Yohan’s morning and good night kisses.

4. Healthy Moms: I’ve gotten some great tips from Cascia over at her blog. You can find helpful information, tips, and personal experiences about spirituality, fitness, safety, pregnancy, maternity acupressure, parenting, and other women’s issues. There are some great posts on potty training ideas as well.
5. Femmepower: You can read about Rochelle’s personal journey on her blog. She has a great heart who has offered me some advice that always worked out better for my blog.
6. Harriet: I can always count on Harriet to keep me up to date on all the latest that is happening. If any of you have seen comment challenges in the past few months, they were started by Harriet and her desire to get a commenting community started.
7. Mara’s Personal Bubble: I’m living my early twenties all over again as I follow Mara’s personal journey in life. You will also find movie reviews and other tips she comes across. Anytime there is a Tennis Championship match going on, I can always count on Mara for an update.
8. Strocel.com: In her own words, she is an around crunchy granola mom to 4-year-old Hannah and 1-year-old Jacob. She is also an engineer-turned-at home mom and an aspiring freelance writer. I followed her through her Maternity leave series where she took us around the world explaining how Maternity leave works in each country. Now, she’s created a new series where she focuses on crafting her life.
9. Life According to Me: She says that she started this online journey because she has a lot to say. Well, Ane, I love reading and following your journey online. I enjoy her honesty in her writing style and have become very fond of each visit.

11. My Rocking Cradle: Wendy writes about her adventures in Seoul. Mother to two children, she is committed to making everyday exciting. In her words, she is the woman comfortably nestled in “My Rocking Cradle”. Welcome!
12. Grampy and You: There is just something that draws me to this blog. From his honest writing to the love he has for his family. Stop by and tell him I said Hi.
13. Momisodes: On her profile she writes, “I’m a typical career mom turned work-at-home, turned stay-at-home. I worked for years as a traveling neonatal nurse.” Let me confirm she is definitely not typical. I adore her writing style, her poetry and humor in her writing. She frequently mixes amazing photos into her posts that help highlight the message of the story. I am definitely thankful to have come upon her blog.
14. Momma’s gone over the wall: Haven’t we all gone over the wall at one point in our lives? Definitely very busy, Staci does everything from giveaways, to tips, to sharing some of her life’s adventures.
15. Momspective: How Julie manages to fit all she does is beyond me. As she puts it on her blog, she writes about whatever she wants. If you read her blog, you’ll understand why. Her adventures are always filled with fun. She also has several other projects including WiiMommies.com where she helps bring fitness home. Her advice holds a lot of weight since she lost 60 pounds using Wii Fit and participated in the EA Sports Active 30 Day Challenge with 11 other team members, including Allison Sweeney, host of The Biggest Loser.
I also didn’t want to leave out my new friends who only joined my blog recently. So here are my Top 5 Commentators in the past month. Those that are not already in the above list.
