There are too many days throughout the year where we worry about what we don’t have. I love Thanksgiving because it reminds us to appreciate what we do have.
More Than A Day
As Thanksgiving Day rolls around,
It brings up some facts, quite profound.
We may think that we’re poor,
Feel like bums, insecure,
But in truth, our riches astound.We have friends and family we love;
We have guidance from heaven above.
We have so much more
Than they sell in a store,
We’re wealthy, when push comes to shove.So add up your blessings, I say;
Make Thanksgiving last more than a day.
Enjoy what you’ve got;
Realize it’s a lot,

You know what, that is so true. My days are filled with that habit, worrying about things that we shouldn’t worry about and now I feel so bad because I have realized that instead of worrying, I should just be thankful of so many things at the end of my day. Thank you for this very nice reminder.

So true!!! Happy belated Thanksgiving!!! I’ve been having computer issues but wanted to thank you for the comments on my posts about our Chicago trip, well wishes for Cosmo (and for me when I was sick), Logan, and being able to identify with the candy machines, haha!
