Small Talk Six – Remembering those school days
Want to join the weekly meme? Head on over to MomDot. Every week, those participating respond to a different topic. The response is done in 6; either 6 words, 6 paragraphs, photos etc… This Week’s Small Talk Six Topic: Here are 6 things I loved or hated about school.
1. I hated the different groups that people belonged to, popular, jocks, nerds etc…. It was also seen as uncool for a popular girl to talk to an unpopular girl.
2. I hated bullies.
3. I hated having to stay outside during those freezing cold days in winter. My hands use to get numb by the end of recess.
4. I loved hanging out with my friends.
5. I loved those teachers that really cared about their students and made an impact in my life.
6. I loved learning about different subjects ( not so much for history, geography, physics or chemistry). O.K maybe this last one is a love/hate duo.
I bet it got cold where you are. We have no idea here. They don’t let the kids out here if the windchill is less than 10.

I had recess up until high school (went to a Catholic school), and if you wore a skirt you better have remembered to bring sweat pants to wear underneath. Otherwise you froze to death!

I’m so glad our school didn’t have a lot of cliques. I think because it was such a small school there wasn’t a whole lot of choice.
