ConversationsWithMoms:Every day Conversations with a Mom Blog

GRAB THE BUTTON CODE on the the sidebar

Welcome to Friday Frustrations, a weekly blog carnival dedicated to getting things off your chests, either big or small. If you would like to participate, grab the button and enter your Friday Frustrations link on Conversations with Moms Friday Frustrations Blog Hop. You can write about several frustrations or just one. It’s up to you.

You don’t need to pick the same topic as I do.  If you are participating, be sure to copy the Blog Hop code on your blog for participants to easily share their links.

Thanks to Brent over at Mcklinky, I now can easily create a Blog Hop for participants to easily share their links.  This way participants get their links shown across more than one blog.

I started this blog hop as a means to get stuff off my chest no matter how big or small.  Sometimes sharing a frustration or writing one down makes me immediately feel better.  I had some readers email me with their frustrations but didn’t link because they felt it was not enough of a frustration to create a post.

A frustration does not have to be a major event that causes you anger.  It can be something as simple as your mailman bending an envelope marked “do not bend” so it can fit in your mailbox.  That is my frustration for the week.  Or it can be a major frustration such as an argument with a loved one.  If it will help you to write it down, then I encourage you to do so.  We can laugh at each other’s frustrations, or we can help support another’s pain.  Isn’t that what blog networking is about?

Here are some quotes on frustration.

“Forget your enemies. It’s your friends you frustrate that cause all the problems.” unknown

“My recipe for dealing with anger and frustration: set the kitchen timer for twenty minutes, cry, rant, and rave, and at the sound of the bell, simmer down and go about business as usual”  Phyllis Diller

“I can’t go on anymore bad dates. I would rather be home alone than out with some guy who sells socks on the internet.”  Cynthia Nixon

“Frustration is the compost from which the mushrooms of creativity grow.”  Tumerica
