Random Newbie – Random Tuesday Thoughts
I was trying to figure out what to post about for today and my mind went a little blank. O.K very blank. I just had all these little random thoughts that would each make a too short and incomplete post. Then I remembered this meme. What a perfect time to join. Here goes, be gentle, it’s my first time.
Why do my eyebrow hairs grow so quickly? The worse part is that I can usually never get them the exact same way. Why did I start with this little embarrassing tidbit, who knows?
We had rather cool weather all summer. Now that August is nearing the end, it’s been 32 C ( 90 Farenheit ) for the last 7 days. But it’s not just really warm, it’s very humid as well, the kind of humidity that makes it hard to breathe. I tried to go for a walk with my two boys at 4 in the afternoon. It took about 10 minutes before both my son’s cheeks were bright red.
Jeffrey went upstairs while I was playing with Tyler. He asked me if I was hungry and wanted a snack. He’s done this before and usually will come down with a fruit or a yogurt. This time, I guess he wanted to impress. He came down with two pieces of cake. His own cake was cut into nice little pieces. I asked him what he used and he told me that he used the knife, “but not the really sharp knife”. I was torn between praising him for his independence, or disciplining my 4 yr old for using a knife, even if if was butter knife, without supervision. I settled for a little of both.
How are there ALWAYS dishes to wash and laundry to do. I just finished the laundry yesterday and the basket already has clothes in them.

I know what you mean! My eyebrows grow fast too! Which is why I don’t shave, I either wax them or go for threading, because it takes longer to grow back, an average of 4 weeks..
We have a very wet, very cold rainy afternoon today, and I think it will last until September, or longer..
I never run out of laundry or dishes to do too! Our laundry baskets and sinks must be in the twilight zone where they can’t run out of stuff in them because it will disrupt the space and time continuum..
LOL 
Jeffrey is a big boy now!
I would’ve done the same thing too, praise him but also scold him a little..

I’m glad you linked up this week! That’s actually kinda cute about him cutting his cake up into pieces.
Laundry is a thankless chore. Maybe that’s what spawned nudist colonies..they got sick of doing their laundry.
Don’t even get me started on my damn eyebrows – argh!
And I think you should be proud of yourself knowing that your child can distinguish between and ‘good’ and ‘bad’ knife but I can understand why you would be worried.

I hate eyebrows. They are a pain. I hate tweezing and forget waxing. I don’t care if they look like Groucho Marx. Whatever happened to the 80′s with Brooke Shields? Why do we have to have pencil thin eyebrows and tweeze and pluck anyway?

I admit I never pluck my eyebrows and no I don’t have a unibrow. LOL!
We’ve been super hot and humid lately too. On the plus side, the pool is now the perfect temperature.
If you can find a solution to the laundry/dish issue, I’d love you forever!

Welcome!!! Yeah what’s up with the eyebrow hairs you wax ‘em and two days later they’re all neanderthal again. We’re in FL so I feel your pain with the heat and humidity, it makes you sweat in places you didn’t realize you could. Happy RTT!!

I always wonder about the laundry and dirty dishes too! It doesn’t seem possible that they can pile up so quickly. I’m beginning to suspect vandals that sneak in at night and dirty up the clothes and the dishes, or maybe it’s gremlins. No way a family of 4 can create so much mess.
