Small Talk Six: I wish, I wish….
Want to join the weekly meme? Head on over to MomDot. Every week, those participating respond to a different topic. The response is done in 6; either 6 words, 6 paragraphs, photos etc… This Week’s Small Talk Six Topic: Here are 6 talents I wish I possessed.
1. I wish I had some computer techie skills (programming or something) that would give me the flexibility to work from home and make a decent living. I tried taking computer programming in University and it is a language I just couldn’t understand.
2. I would love to be a natural cook, able to make a variety of meals that explode with flavor without referring to recipes. I guess I would need a great palette for that first.
3. Whenever I have a big event to go to, my youngest sister is the person I go to for make-up. She has the natural ability to hide what needs to be hidden and highlight the best areas of my face. I can put make-up on but she can make it look professional. I would like to have this talent.
4. The ability to inspire and motivate large crowds through speech. Of course, this would require me to have the ability to be a great public speaker first.
5. To be able to inspire through the power of words. I’ve always wanted to be a great writer.
6. Just to have a little fun… I would love to have the talent to snap my fingers and have my house cleaned, kids bathed, clothes washed in just a second.
Inspire by words…you probably already have that power.

I wish I had the talent of living fearlessly. Sometimes I am just so tired of being timid and anxious. Maybe that means I’m ready to hone this talent for myself.

I agree with all of them, especially the computer skills. It’d be nice to be able to program and change my own blog. It would also save some money!

My sister has that talent but with clothing. She can wear sweats and still look stylish. How do people do that?
I can’t do public speaking either. It terrifies me!
I think every woman in the world would love #3 & #6. I don’t have a sister & my mom doesn’t wear makeup, so I am semi-self taught. And not very well!
