A few months ago, my hubby and I replaced our digital camera Canon S100. We had it for over 8 years so I wanted a new technology. We replaced it with the FujiFilm Finepix S1000. Why we did not get another Canon is beyond me. I don’t like this camera at all.
If you look at my Wordless Wednesdays you can easily see why. The images are never sharp no matter what setting I put it in.
When Blog hopping, I see so many blogs where the images are so sharp that it sometimes looks like it’s going to jump out of the screen. I want that. I need to mention that the reviews for this camera are overall very good, so maybe it’s me. I am no photographer so I need something that’s really easy to use, a point and click kind of camera. The FujiFilm S1000 does not do this for me at all.
So I apologize for the lack of photo quality you get from my blog. Hopefully, I’ll figure out how to really use this camera.
Next week, I’m going to Niagara Falls, and I’m hoping to get a few good shots at least. Only time will tell.

Ugh, I feel your frustrations. Although I’ve learned to take better photos with my camera, it will never capture the same quality many of the other bloggers can.
I am desperate for an upgrade or change.

Hey Maria, I don’t own a camera too. I don’t know why I haven’t invested in one.. I usually just borrow my uncle’s camera whenever the need arises so maybe that’s why. But lately I have been wanting one of my own. I use my phone’s VGA camera, which sucks, but it’ll do for now. Why don’t you get a Sony Cybershot, it’s a point and shoot camera with smile detection and face detection and all that stuff. I’m saving up for a T900.. I hope I can save enough.

Sorry I missed Friday frustrations this week… it been a busy and frustrating week all around…lol… so I didn’t really find the time to fit it in.
I know what you mean about the camera… I’m disappointed in my camera too… everyone else seems to get much better pics with their camera than I do with mine. My budget just can’t keep up with technology.

Sadly, hubby lost my point and shoot Canon IXUS last week. I have been depressed about it for several days. I was so childish because I didn’t talk to him for a while. I was so upset that I didn’t feel like blogging. However, I realized my mistake and made amends.
He promised to buy me a new one soon. My first digicam was a Sony cybershot. I still have it although it’s bulky compared to my Canon. I’m thinking of getting another Sony cybershot.

I want one of those beautiful cameras too. I have an older one with a low megapixel count so my pictures are not very good at all. But, it’s all I have at the moment so I carry on.

Recently I decided to pursue my life-long interest in photography as a hobby and have been reasearching cameras. It does sound like canon is the way to go, no comparison. However, to get the top quality professional-looking photos requires a very expensive one! I have decided on the canon rebel xs, but that’s going to have to be all I buy myself this year! :/
