BF Can you tell your Childs personality by the way he breastfeeds?

O.K so there is going to be no scientific data to back my theory, but hey that’s why it’s my theory.

I could tell a lot about the differences between my two sons, by the way they breastfeed or breastfed.  Their style and needs matches a lot with their style while not breastfeeding as well.

Breastfeeding Style:

Jeffrey: Always wanted to be feeding.  He’d just finish his one hour feeding and after 30 min., he would scream for more.  He was all about the Quantity.  He had no problem doing the same thing over and over.

Tyler: He always pulls out if it takes too long.  He’s about the Quality.  He gets what he needs and moves on.  He’s also content to wait until his next feeding.  Even when he was a newborn, he fed every 4 hours.

While not feeding:

Jeffrey: Jeffrey loves in between snacks.  He still wants quantity.  He won’t eat large portions but would have a snack every  hour if he could.  I remember as an infant, I would spend hours (exaggerated of course) doing the same silly faces which would result in laughter every time.

Tyler: Still about Quality.  He doesn’t waste time and gets bored easily.  Do you know how kids can watch you make the same funny face over and over again and find it funny?  Not my son.  After 2-3 times, he looks at you like, “Are you kidding?  You did this already”.

I love their individuality.  It makes for very exciting days.

If you would like to participate in Mrs. Zeee’s make Monday matter meme just follow the link to her site.

It’s a meme all about helping Monday’s not get a bum rap. How am I going to make this Monday matter to me?

I mentioned how my sister underwent an operation on Thursday night.  Well, today I’m spending the day trying to entertain her as much as possible in the hospital.  If I can, hopefully she’ll forget a little about her discomfort.
