This Week’s Small Talk Six Topic: 6 Pieces of Advice that I think are obvious, but some people just need to hear.
I won’t say who this advice is meant for. Just some advice that I’ve wanted to tell some people in the past, or advice that I already gave.
Vacations won’t help your financial dilemna: If you cannot afford to pay your credit cards, you probably shouldn’t be going on vacation. Yes, it will make you feel better but won’t prevent the bank from calling you.
Marriage is not the cure: If he makes you feel this bad, marriage will not solve the problem. Love is not suppose to make you feel bad about yourself and Marriage will not automatically turn him into Prince Charming.
Ssssh! It’s a secret: If she shares a secret with you that she was sworn to keep, she’ll probably share one of you.
Gossip: If she gossips with you, she’ll gossip of you.
Our Future: Realize the children of the world are our future. How we treat them, is how our future will play out.
The Circle: What goes around, comes around. Spread seeds of happiness and soon the garden will flourish.
I have friends that need to read your advice on marriage. I’ve said the same, but people don’t get it.

I know a lot of people who need to hear #1. They go on all these trips then complain they can’t pay their electric. Priorities not quite right?

Vacations should only be taken once you’ve saved up for them. Grass is never greener on the other side when it comes to relationships, especially marriage, so stay where you are and be thankful. Make sure those you confide in can be trusted. I have found out the hard way too many times. I stop gossip by asking the person doing the gossiping to come with to talk to that individual. Our children are precious and we better be treating them the way we want to be treated. For sure, what goes around, comes around. I might add, we reap what we sow!
