This Week’s Small Talk Six Topic: 6 Ways I am like or Unlike my Mother.
Just in Time for Mother’s Day too.
1. Like my Mom – I can easily fall asleep if I’m inactive. This includes falling asleep while sitting for too long.
2. Like my Mom – I am grateful to my Mom for this one, but we both have Faith in God.
3. Like my Mom – I worry like my Mom. I’m working on it but sometimes I’m always thinking the worse is going to happen. Mostly, when it comes to the people I love, especially my children. So I try to keep them with me protect them like my Mom.
4. Like my Mom – Mom I love you, but I’m messy like my Mom. We both don’t stress over a messy house and are o.k if the brooming waits till tomorrow.
5. Unlike my Mom – I cannot cook like my Mom. I wish I could. I don’t think she ever needed a recipe, while I need the Cooking for Dummies version.
6. Unlike my Mom – I wouldn’t have the energy to raise 6 children like she did. I praise you Mom for that, but I’m o.k with two.

I have 5 kids and it is alot of work but wouldn’t trade it for the world. Happy Mother’s Day!

We got loads of things in common[mom and me]. I don’t know why I didn’t understand those when I was still a child. My mom used to nag at me because of lots of things. Now that I am a mother, I tend to reflect those moments. When I call my Mom and tell her what my daughter has been doing [silly & amusing] she would say, she’s exactly your copy-cat

My mom and I are very much alike. That comes in handy when I call her ranting about some stupidity somewhere.
Of course, I named my blog after her, too.

It is so nice knowing you and your Mom at the same time, Maria.
Happy Mother’s Day.
My mom and I are complete opposites of each other, I think the only thing we have in common is our blood type, and that’s about it..
What a fun meme!

Cooking is easy once you start. I’ve even gotten my hubby in the kitchen. You have to want to do it though. Some people just don’t want to, and that’s ok. I never want to do dishes LOL. My DH started with simple recipes like pancakes from scratch, then worked on different variations until it was perfected to his liking. Right now, we’re both working on trying to make a good and juicy cheeseburger.
