Sometimes you just have to let the Dishes sit in the Sink.

I’m posting a little later than usual. Normally, when I get up at 6 a.m with Tyler I will do my daily post. This morning though was hectic.
My sister’s kids ( an 8 yr old boy and twin 6 yr old boys) are staying with me for 3 days while she goes away on a trip with her husband. So I’ve had very limited free time. My husband has also been out with a lot of back pain and has been confined to lying down almost all day.
Jeffrey, is loving having his cousins over as he gets to play with them all day. Literally, ALL day. How do kids have so much energy? I don’t remember ever having that much energy.
Having 5 boys around has definitely been very interesting. They are all good boys, but they are kids and very active. There is usually someone angry at another for not sharing his toy. Or there is at least 2 or 3 kids yelling at the same time.
It’s been very entertaining to say the least, but overall I am really enjoying having them around. It gives me a slight idea of what my parents went through with 6 kids. God Bless my Mom.
But today is definitely one of those days where I will not stress if the dishes remain in the sink for a little while longer.

We had six kids too but my mom usually tried to shoo everybody outside to play LOL
Wow – you have what I would call a BUSY day ~ Aacckk!!What a good Auntie you are to keep all the kids!
wew…sounds very tight up Maria, I haven’t had any kids, but I have three nephews, all are about three to five years. They shout, run and play here and there almost all the time. But kids are kids right ? wonderful auntie you are btw.
